It was exactly 7 years ago (Sept. 20, 2007) that the newly-established CMIS Booster Club ordered its first popcorn machine (a second-hand one from Bangkok). That machine served us well for a long, long time, but last week it finally quit. We were discussing how to replace it when suddenly a generous donation came in from Mrs. Narongluk (Mary Ann Chan), mother of Leonard in Grade 6. She said Booster Club could use the money for anything we wanted, so we decided a new machine was the perfect choice. Two more donations from parents Mrs. Khanita (Nid) Satterfield and Mrs. Patcharavalai (Pued) Patcharavalai made the total just enough to purchase our BRAND NEW POPCORN MACHINE this week! It was used on Wednesday for the first time, and was a great success.
Booster Club would like to thank those who made this purchase possible, and all those who buy our popcorn each Wednesday. We look forward to serving our school with more delicious popcorn, whereby we raise funds to support the Athletics Program at CMIS.
