This year we have the exciting opportunity to offer Robotics club again, with materials and instruction provided by Robot4Fun and Robomac. Students learn to build and program 20 projects, including everything from power saws to bumper cars, or art spinners to gymnast bots. There are two days per week that you may choose from:

Wednesdays (Sept 24 – Feb 25) – skip all school holidays

OR

Thursdays (Sept 25 – Feb 26) – skip all school holidays

Each session will run from 2:55 pm until 4:30 pm (95 minutes) for a total of 30 hours of instruction and activities. The use of all materials, including laptops, programs, robot control panels and building pieces, are included in the one time fee, along with the room use and instructors’ fees. With a teacher to student ratio of 1:2 or 1:3, it is a great way for students to learn and receive instant feedback on progress. Each student will receive a portfolio with photos and an assessment of every project they build, their skills, teamwork and stamina, and a certificate of completion once they pass the test for the course on the final day. Those who excel will also have the opportunity to join local or regional competitions with other teams.

Cost: 4,500 baht (only 150 baht per hour)

Location: TBA (on CMIS campus in a classroom)

See Mrs. Christina or the Front Office for the registration forms and turn in to Mrs. Christina with the fee to reserve your spot. Preference will be given to those who registered at the Activities Fair, but last year spaces were filled in just one day, so don’t delay!
