On Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 the CMIS Booster Club presented the athletic director with some new items for the Athletic Program. These included two 5-gallon heavy-duty water coolers, along with 48 reusable sturdy plastic cups - numbered and in trays – for our sports teams. (At some CMAC schools, drinking water for athletes is not always readily accessible, so these coolers & cups can be taken along for field/court-side use. In addition, it will cut down on the waste created by disposable paper and plastic cups that are currently in use at CMIS and at other schools.)
Another item donated by the Booster Club is a vinyl banner with the words of the CMIS School Song, which will be hung in the gym. Funds for these donations were raised through sales of popcorn on Wednesdays and concessions at CMIS-hosted sporting events.
