Thank you to the CMIS PTG for the wonderful luncheon that they provided for our staff yesterday (Thursday, January 15th).
Carl Jung, the famous Swiss psychiatrist said, “One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.”
Dear Students and Staff:
Teacher Appreciation Day is an opportunity to celebrate the role of the teacher and the impact they have made, are making and will make in all of our lives. It is refreshing to work in an environment that recognizes and values the commitment our teachers make in supporting learning for all students.
To the teaching staff of CMIS, (and to paraphrase a quote from Andy Rooney) – Most of us end up with no more than a few people who will remember us outside of our families. I want you Teachers to remember that you have thousands of people who will remember you for the rest of their lives.
Thank you for your work here at CMIS. You are appreciated today, and every day.
